Social Game Studies is a multi-authored blog and repository on the academic study of social games. Current authors are Staffan Björk, Sebastian Deterding, Ben Kirman, Janne Paavilainen, Valentina Rao, and Luca Rossi.

The site orginated from an interdisciplinary workshop on the state of research on social games, convened by the Hans Bredow Institute for Media Research during the Games Convention Online on July 9, 2010 (available here).
